Sea Stay Hotel description

Sea Stay Hotel is located along the northern shore of Jeju Island and 2 km from Aewol Port. All rooms boast sweeping sea views, and the in-house café offers coffee, beer and wine throughout the day.

Each unit at Sea Stay features a private balcony with outdoor furniture and a spa bath. Guests can hear the sound of the waves from each apartment. You will find a full kitchen, a flat-screen TV and a clothes rack. Private bathroom is fitted with a shower, and bathrobes are provided.

From Sea Stay Hotel, Gwakji Beach is a 10-minute drive west. Jeju International Airport is 17 km away.

Good, but additional fees not transparent, only after arriving at hotel, then hotel staff tells you

Nice Seaview

There is additional fee of 5000 won. Not sure what is this for as it is in Korean, but sounds like if u want to use the bathtub in the room then u have to pay this extra fee. This should not be charged as the booking already included the bathtub in the photo and description.

Funny idea to have a bath on the balcony with seaview.

Three was some machines and conteners outside and the seaview was nothing special. The room was old and so-so. There is nothing to do in this area. Two nights earlier we staied in different hotel, the same price but it was with beautiful view, cleaner and more comfortable room, in interesting village.

Pleasant and comfortable stay, nice sea view.

The room is big and spacious, bed is comfortable, smart tv in room, view is good. Near to several restaurants and convenient store.

The lighting in bathroom was a little too dark and the shower drainage is a little slow, otherwise everything was very good.

Good view, basic hotel

Room has a great view over the inlet & wharf. Was great to sit in the morning & have coffee whilst watching the boats come in & out of the harbour.

Facilities at the hotel are basic, and a microwave would be a good idea for cooking a quick meal. Apparently there was breakfast at the restaurant, but was never advised of this, or whether they opened the restaurant for dinner. Not good customer service to me.

Exceptional

The hotel is clean, it is located next to the seaside and all the rooms have ocean view. The place is not new but it is kept very well and the facilities still are of high quality. There is a bubble pool on the balcony. I think you get a lot for what you pay, especially when comparing prices on Jeju. I would recommend to stay here.

Amazing escape to the sea

The bed was super comfy. The view was amazing. The spa was wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful.

It was a bit out of the way, and the buses are not very reliable.

Dreamy view and getaway stay.

The view is phenomenal! We opted for the room with the hot tub outside, and it was simply amazing. We liked the location too, because it’s quieter than other parts of Jeju, but still had a few nice restaurants in the vicinity. Will absolutely stay there again if I go to Jeju.

Nothing major at all. It would have been nice if there were bath robes, but even without it, it was a wonderful stay.

Attempted hidden fees

We booked this place because of its sea view rooms with hot tubs at the veranda.

The hot tub wasn’t actually free. They would make you pay extra bucks to use the hot tub plug (drain stopper). That was funny because that was one of the filters we used when we were looking for a place to stay in Jeju. The owner said it was stated on the post or website. (nothing was on the site) The owner attempted to scam us out of some won. It totally felt like he was trying to take advantage of us because we were foreigners. They provided one for us when I proved to him it was stated that it should be included in the amenities of the room. They don’t give toothbrushes when you don’t ask. But they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We requested to have the room cleaned while we were out. The room was not totally cleaned. Dishes weren’t done and some trash was still in the room.

The ocean front view with the jacuzzi tub (but disadvantage is we need to pay extra for the bathtub hole stopper by the day)

1.Far away from the city, nothing much near by, except one small restaurant with limited choice- small menu in the hotel. However there are a few restaurants on the strip but communication can be a problem when ordering food. 2.our room 106 was dusty on the side table and the kitchen hub. There were hair in the bathroom sink, kitchen sink and jacuzzi tub. We need to pay extra money by the day to use the jacuzzi for the hole stopper.
